A local move is generally any move of household items within 50 miles from the origin to the final destination. During a local move your cost depends on the amount of time it takes to load and unload and the driving time between locations. This means that unless you require our professional packing services, you should be prepared to have the loading of your move started as soon as your team arrives.

For local moves, packing is the key. Since you will be charged by the hour, it is in your best interest to be ready to go when your Nova Packers & Movers team arrives.
Using the proper size cartons is important in stacking the load in the truck. A carton must be completely filled, either with goods or filler paper, to make sure it won't collapse under the weight of a carton placed on top of it. Your mover reserves the right to repack cartons or other items they feel will not move well.
